Settings profiles

Quick Setup in the app applies a complete, ready-made configuration for a specific workflow in one click - subject access and FOI responses, court and tribunal bundles, regulator-grade record-keeping, or a clean document with no apparatus at all. Every profile sets every option below, so switching profiles turns things off as well as on, and your settings always correspond to exactly one profile (or "Custom" once you fine-tune).

Profiles marked Pro need a Pro plan for the exemption-code and Bates scopes. PDF metadata is always removed on export regardless of profile. Applying a profile always shows you the exact list of changes first, and each change is recorded in your settings audit history.

SAR / FOI response

For statutory disclosure: subject access requests, FOI responses and records requests. Every withholding must be attributed to an exemption code before export, redaction labels show a reference ID plus the exemption code, and the certificate lists each redaction individually - the document you can defend line by line to a requester or the ICO.

Litigation / tribunal bundle

Court-ready output: Bates numbering across the bundle, audit ZIP packaging (redacted PDF, certificate and redaction log together), both summary formats on the certificate, and export blocked until every redaction is attributed.

Compliance evidence

The same evidential core as the litigation bundle but built for internal and regulated record-keeping rather than court: every export must produce a verifiable certificate - if the signing service is unreachable the export fails rather than shipping without one - and there are no court stamps on the pages.

Just the redacted doc

A clean redacted PDF and nothing else - no certificate, no logs, no prompts. Metadata is still stripped on export. For blind CVs, property documents and quick one-off jobs.

RedactProof default

The configuration every new account starts with: certificate and logs on, loose files, warnings rather than hard blocks. It is also the way back - applying it resets the workflow settings to a known baseline, with a preview of what will change.
